when i took a second look and saw this

Everybody knows that when asking someone to dance, you twirl your hands above your head. It’s just common courtesy.
Yes, yes, of course.
But Hihara is an adorkably awkward turtleduck who was blatantly in love with her for several episodes and even dragged his friends with him in an attempt to interrupt a potential engagement (which was, of course, in true teeth-rotting shoujo fluff tradition a misunderstanding) BEFORE he realized he was in love with the girl while they were hanging out in a park together.
Hihara: Ah! The costumes! Everyone has to dress up real formal, right? No~~ I hate that. Can’t I wear my jeans?
Yunoki: Well— jeans probably wouldn’t work.
Hihara: Even though it’s the most expensive ones I have!?
Yunoki: Most expensive one…?
Hihara: I mean… I know we’re different. — You’re so smart and classy and stuff, and I’m so not.
Yunoki: True Enough.
Hihara:AHHH! YOU’RE SUCH A JERK!! Would it kill you to lie?
Yunoki: Sorry, Kazuki. Ha ha.
A long time passed since I enjoyed a chapter of Kiniro no Corda that much ♥
Where I’m at in the anime, I really do not like Yunoki right now and wonder how he manages to keep Hihara as a good friend, but egads Hihara is so adorable.
